WAGO gibt es auch zum Öffnen. Insofern ist das zum Experimentieren auch gut geeignet. Aber hier wird der Kontakt durch "bissige" Federn bewirkt. Das wird also am selben Kabelende nicht beliebig oft funktionieren. und dazu wird Litze dabei auffasern. Für die wiederholte Trennung von normalen Kabeln ist es auch nicht geeignet.

Und dazu muss man bei jeder Verbindung die Polung beachten und hat dann offene Enden.

Also ich würde sagen: Für die wechselnde Verbindung von Stromversorgung nimmt man besser #PowerPole.

Zum Experimentieren mit Drahtantennen ist #WAGO eine gute Idee.

Fun #HamRadio project to end the afternoon! I learned how to do #PowerPole work.

Backstory: my radios both use these power supply attachments that are like 2/3 of a circle. It's a huge pain because you can attach them (pictured later) and they can slide right off with an accidental tug. So tonight, I set out to change both radios' power supply cables to have a "powerpole" or kind of power lego on the end of them.

I took pics for some phases. I'll link instructions below.

Bulkhead mount PP prototype, should look nice eventually.. Still rough around the edges, no matter how many chamfers I add.

I designed this inspired by another similar SB50 mount, since every PP mount I found was just perpendicular to the panel and very simplistic.

I'm basically done my rotator connector box. Still have to finish mounting it somewhere. Meanwhile, I have enough powerpoles to do maybe 100 radios. *whistles innocently*

In my opinion Anderson #PowerPole connectors are a nearly ideal system for portable ham radio #power supplies. They are hermaphroditic and can handle high currents. I mainly use the 15 A version since I normally operate QRP, but 30 A and 45 A are also available in the same casing. Crimping is easy - no need to solder. But pay attention what colour casing you put on which side! Ask me how I know. #HamRadio #Amateurfunk #qrp

So #PGandE is replacing a pole in my back yard today. The pole is 208 ft. behind the house.
They're assembling the crane now. Preparing to put the counterweights on now.

Für mein #Yaesu FT891 für #Amateurfunk habe ich jetzt seit letzter Woche einen #lifepo4 Akku. Da es sich anbietet, stelle ich daher aktuell einige Adapter für #Powerpole her um neben dem FT891 auch mein FT4XE Handgerät (DC-Hohlbuchse) und per kleinem Spannungswandler auch mein Handy (USB-C) per PP laden zu können. Bisher gab es nur das auf Netzstrom angewiesene Difona-Netzteil mit #Bananenstecker.
Adapterkabel PP zu Banane funktioniert schonmal. :-)
