Über einer Ferienhaussiedlung in Dünen im Mondlicht steht der Vollmond. Es ist gerade noch hell genug, um die Farben und Formen der Häuser zu erahnen.

Direkt vor uns bricht sich eine kleine Welle am Strand. Dahinter erstreckt sich die silbrig glänzende Nordsee. Am Horizont berührt die Sonne als roter Ball unter wolkenlosem Himmel den Horizont.

Vor uns erstreckt sich die nächtliche Nordsee und sie ist ungewohnt ruhig. Am Horizont steht noch das letzte rosige Leuchten des Sonnenuntergangs und ganz tief eine blaue Nebelfront. In der Ferne kann man die dunkle Silhouette eines Fischkutters sehen.

Auf einer kleinen Steinmauer mit Moos und Flechten liegt ein Skizzenbuch aufgeschlagen. Dahinter erstreckt sich eine Marschlandschaft unter blauem spätsommerlichem Himmel.
