Yes.... videos can be useful.
BUT they are not a replacement for text which you can use to declare your rant or provide useful information.
Write stuff. It is accessible to more people.
Video is not accessible to all.
Yes - you might be able to make it pretty and maybe have that "cool" factor - but in the end - it is not as useful for that which can be written in a few paragraphs and read in seconds.
Write on your own site.
Link to people and things you admire.
Share your insights there.
