Happy solstice to those who celebrate! For me it just means I can start the countdown to autumn because summer is my least favourite season. 😂

Anyway, these cute asters just popped up in my garden. Not something I planted and I don't know if it's an invasive weed or a friendly pollinator magnet, but I hope it's the latter. That one bee in the photo seems to enjoy it.

The circular extent of a purple flower fills the center of the page, but actually a set of long branching purple flowers extend from the central core. The background is blurred which is mostly green stems and stuff but small purple flowers are visible in the upper left and lower right.

Big clusters of aster plants, all in bloom and covered with tons of flowers. Some white ones are closest to us, with some blue ones further away in the shade. There are some other trees and bushes, too, but the asters dominate.

Sun is shining, the asters are buzzing with bees, bumble bees and flys, butterfly and some other creatures that live in our garden.
Its too warm for this time of the year (19°C in middle Germany), but its like a natural meditation center ... my wife and I or we alone enjoy this part of the garden quiet often.
