Quand j'ai commencé à faire de l'art, je n'étais pas préparée à ce que ça me ferait vivre. En oct 2024 j'ai amené la pièce que j'étais en train de faire à un sympo. Les yeux et le museau étaient fait.

Quand elle l'a vu, une dame a eu les larmes aux yeux. C'est troublant car ça m'a fait monter les larmes aussi. On ne se connaissait pas avant. Nous sommes restée en contact et ajd elle héberge ma sculpture entre mes sympos.

Une sculpture en acier représentant 2 têtes de renard : une maman qui regarde droit devant et un petit qui regarde maman. Leur pelage est composé de clous. Les têtes sont complètement modelées dans l'acier.

Le tout est monté sur une jolie roche de granit rose provenant de Charlevoix.

The street, #Finkenherd (literally "finch hearth", though its meaning is closer to "finch trap"), is famous for its half-timbered houses. The Café am Finkenherd occupies three of these historic buildings.

According to legend, Henry the Fowler, Duke of Saxony and father of our famous Otto The Great, was trapping birds here when he was told he was to be king – centuries before the houses were built, of course. He was crowned king of East Francia in 919, the first non-Frankish king no less.

A few years back, wifey and I did a project together, as we often do. We wanted to do a very specific mashup - death metal and Pokémon. It's admittedly a niche. But we wanted to choose Cubone because that's the name of our furry son (the one in my avi). And the Pokémon's back story, wearing his dead mom's skull, it's pretty metal. Original shirt inspiration on the right, for reference (I have a very worn copy of this one). I sketched it out, she painted (she's so talented-- the REAL talent between us). She of course added her excellent flair to it. Acrylic on canvas.
