The new Osmose 61 #mpe #keyboard looks v cool. I'm not sure if I could fit this into my personal workflow but I could see my younger self building the entire #electronic #music #studio around that #instrument. However, as with other #Eagen #Matrix instruments - it benefits from adding a warming unit at the end of the signal chain for adding some umpf to the somewhat sterile #digital sound. Something like Analog Heat of Oto Boum.

The more I work with my Linnstrument 128, and the more I read the manual in depth, the more I'm convinced that the Linnstrument is the most thoroughly thought-out instrument ever designed. It's funny when I think there's something I wish it would/could do, only to either ask or spend a little more time with the manual and discover that it already does that.

Mason from #KPL visited New York at the age of 12 to record omnidirectional sounds on the Tascam.
Today he and Christina recirded #library sounds and used Mason's fave #daw #LogicPro to crank out this interesting library sounds song in a half hour.
They chatted about how the majority of most #music-related #libraryTech programs are spent troubleshooting.
Told them i was considering #Ardour but hope one day to have a #foss mobile digital audio workstation with #mpe

The moon is shining through the window at my desk. Made a patch for the amazing surge XT and linnstrument tonight. Played around with it and pressed record. This is recorded in one take. My main focus while creating sounds is always the ability to tell a story. I think this one works well from dark to light. Classic sawtooth patch with airwindows reverb.

Expressive E Soliste besteht aus vier Solo-Streichern, die auf Physical Modeling basieren und MPE unterstützen.
Mit Soliste veröffentlichen Expressive E ein Streicher-Ensemble bestehend aus einer Violine (VLN 356), einer Viola (VLA 419), einem Cello (CLO 759) und einem Kontrabass (DBS 1130).
