Le projet FreezePee, financé par l'#ADEME, démarre au sein du Programme OCAPI et du @leesu.

Mené par Corentin Eschenbrenner, avec Julien Leroux et Fabien Esculier, il explorera la concentration des nutriments par #congélation en complément de procédés de stabilisation de l'azote par acidification ou #nitrification passive ainsi que le devenir des #micropolluants dans ces #engrais.

The identification of the role of #Archaea in carrying out ammonia oxidation in #nitrification in both aquatic and soil #ecosystems was a game changer in our understanding of (microbial) #nitrogencycling

This new research reveals hitherto unknown complexity in the enzyme that catalyses #ammoniaoxidation in Archaea and the involvement of additional Amo protein subunits.
