a whole bunch of lumpy space rocks of various sizes and colors hang in a blue sky with a yellowish haze above a sharply defined yet rounded range of brown mountains encased in a large glassy orb. the rocks have swirling patterns on them and the whole vibe is very prog rock album covera bunch of very large lumpy space rocks loom ahead in a hazy blue green sky. the sun illuminates through the haze above the space rocks and directly ahead is a yellowish brown hill or mountain. one of the rocks is shiny and looks like it is made from a dark colored glassy materialthree small irregular rocks floating in the sky punctuate an image of a bright pink dune silhouetted against a hazy pink sky. i just really liked the composition of this one tbh :)a very irregular lumpy space rock hangs in an emerald sky above a dark green and purple ridge. it is brightly patterned in swirls of white, light blue, pink, and hot pink. the hot pink swirl looks sort of like an exclamation mark!

I’m currently spending my time on a level generator.
It’s mostly based on Joris Dormans’ “Cyclic Dungeon Generation” approach.
Godot’s UI nodes have been surprisingly effective — I wouldn’t have managed without having four viewports open side by side.

Hivemind, I require your assistance.

I'm doing seed based, deterministic #proceduralgeneration #procgen .

I am encountering a bug, somewhere in my code, something does a few draws here or there, which throws of the entire thing in very small, but important ways. I'm testing my code via deterministic UIDs that, as you can guess, are no longer deterministic. Which throws off sorting by id, etc.

How do I find this random draw that only sometimes happens? Any ideas?
