Also bumped #uboot from v2024.10-rc3 tag to v2025.10. Seems to work just fine.

For anyone else trying this: Make sure you don't have old vendor uboot on mtd because it will fail to jump to mainline uboot. Clear spi and you're good to go.
The other way around (meaning mainline uboot on spi but vendor uboot on nVME/eMMC/whatever) works fine.

Nachbau des U-Bootes aus dem Tim und Struppi Album "Der Schatz Rackhams des Roten". Eine schwarze, torpedoförmige Struktur, die einem Hai ähnelt, steht in einem hell beleuchteten Raum. Die Struktur befindet sich in der Mitte des Raumes und wird von vier Holzständern gestützt. Die Struktur hat eine klare Kuppel an der Oberseite, und auf beiden Seiten befinden sich Flügel. In der Nähe befinden sich weiße Bilderrahmen an der Wand. Der Boden ist hellgrau.

There is video cache on this platform, so video_sync() needs to be called every time.

Maybe I should not switch to 8x16 on the second screen too early (the content stays on screen even if you change the font) and that would be nicer.

The EPA fading speed is cycle-dependent, so on a faster computer (enabling KVM also works) it's (almost) instant.

I have checked various configurations using 86Box and this is the exact behavior.
