UR-42544, Yakovlev Yak-42, Avia Express, parked across it's gate at Manchester Airport, some time in 1992 or 1993, as seen from the top of the |Terminal 1 car park.
The airport didn't have a towbar to fit this type, which explains the jaunty angle at which this is parked, to enable it to move away under it's own power once it completes the turn.

Farbfotografie im Format 3:2 waagerecht. Ein heißer Sommertag, hoch in der Luft. Der Blick führt aus dem Bullauge einer Antonow AN2, zwischen den Flügeln dieses Doppeldeckers hindurch. Weit unten sind die von anhaltender Sommerhitze verdorrten Felder, ein kleines Industriegebiet und grüne Waldflächen zu erkennen. Rechts der unteren Tragfläche ist, nahe der Antonow, eine Vakovlev YAK 50, vollständig und in leichter Schräglage zu sehen.
