Eight years ago, my wife, my best friend and I sat round a table in our local and played some tunes. 96 session later, we now fill the Old Ale House in Truro, Cornwall, every month and are privileged to hear some of the most talented singers and musicians. I am immensely proud of the Truro Folk Session.

‼️ 23.03.2024 Selbsthilfetreffen in Sulz am Neckar ‼️

Seit Anfang 2024 gibt es nun eine Selbsthilfegruppe in 72172 Sulz am Neckar (Schwarzwald), die von Christin Löhner geleitet wird. Diese Selbsthilfegruppe ist für trans*, inter* und nicht-binäre Menschys, sowie deren Angehörige und Allies.

Diese neue Selbsthilfegruppe trifft sich an jedem 2. Freitag und an jedem 4. Samstag im Monat, ab 18 Uhr. Unter „Termine“ findet man immer die aktuellen Termine aller unserer Selbsthilfetreffen, Events und Aktionen.

Nächster Termin für die Selbsthilfegruppe in Sulz am Neckar: 23. März 2024 ab 18 Uhr

Der Eingang des Hauses befindet sich links hinter dem Haus von der Straße aus gesehen.

Sowohl in Sulz als auch in Horb gibt es Bahnhöfe. Im Notfall können wir auch Menschys vom Bahnhof abholen und wieder hin bringen. Außerdem gibt es bei uns auch mehrere Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten. Sollte jemand nicht mehr nach Hause wollen oder können (mangelns ÖPNV), darf man gerne bei uns das Gästezimmer in Anspruch nehmen.

Today's #DukinfieldCC ride was a hilly one, @ 1200m in 77km. We headed north out from Dukinfield through #Heyrod, #Mossley, #Greenfield and #Uppermill before starting the long climb from #Delph up #MarsdenMoor. At the top of the moor we headed west down the fast, but windy, descent over the #M62 motorway before turning left again taking us to #ScammondenDam. From there we headed across country taking in a few 10% plus-ers before hitting the main road that climbed to the top of #CraggVale. Another windy but speedy drop took us the the cafe in #Littleborough for coffee and refuel before the ride home through #Newhey, #Shaw, #Lees and #Dukinfield. Sneaked out yesterday afternoon for @ 40km doing some local lumps. Just about 10km from home you really get into the hills if you head north and/or east. Lovely countryside, hard as nails, but so rewarding. This photo is from the top of #Lydgate near #Mossley. It's a three step climb, short but very steep on the steps! I love riding my #bike .

Another excellent Dukinfield CC ride, this time to Farm Made Tearooms at #Rainow, with Jane and Paul Nyland, Danny and Emidio. The cafe is in a glorious setting, near the bottom of #BlazeHill. And you get the chance to see #WhiteNancy . The only drawback today was my chain snapping at the bottom of the Climb Of Doom, a.k.a. #Chadkirk. I managed to get that sorted but walked up the climb as I didn't want to risk using my excessive wattage again in case I snapped it one more time. So that's a new chain and cassette I'll be ordering..

About 10km from home on Sunday (I'd done @ 93km around the #Cheshire lanes by this point) I nabbed a shot of the Phil Foden mural on the corner of Wycliffe Street and George's Road in Stockport. For scale, I rested Osgar the Orro by our Phil. Phil is #47 for Manchester City FC and a #Stockport lad. He's a top, top, top player. Just Dougie and I today. Only 54km but just short of 1000m of climbing! A great, local route taking in #TunsteadLane, #Diggle, #GrainsRoad and #Scouthead. Pretty chuffed that I can still get up the 15%ers (and steeper!) in my 60th year and the @orrobikes Terra C helped, too.
