Als Feature Drop werden Funktionen verkauft, die Google irgendwann mal entfernt hat, und nach 2 oder 3 Jahren wieder als sensationelle Neuigkeit vorgestellt werden.
Nach dem Mai Update 2025 ist mein 7a zum Akkufresser geworden. Aus 2 Tagen Akkulaufzeit sind 8 Std. geworden. Daher meine Entscheidung zu einem #CustomROM

The standard #Android is really a nightmare in terms of structure/clarity. I have heard of senior-friendly launchers but at least on #Fdroid, the choice of launchers seems quite limited.

É um trajeto típico de empresa que quer crescer. A google fez isso no começo: "amiga do SL e dos padrões livres". Quando virou monopólio, só botou pra fwd3r em todos os movimentos com os quais cresceu.
Es macht mir immer wieder Spaß, wenn ich ein älteres Smartphone in die Finger kriege, ein #customrom drauf flashe, und mich nach dem ersten Neustart ein Bildschirm mit einem neuen System begrüßt.
Diese Woche ein Pixel 4a ergattert. #iodé drauf, und das Teil läuft wie geschmiert.

I have been using it properly for the first time over the past few days on my Pixel 9. The only comparable feeling I had was about 15 years ago, when I owned my first iPhone gen1 and used it with a jailbreak.

Vale, dos cosas, porque estoy un poco shock por el momento porque realmente no me lo esperaba, debo decir que de todo esto no me hubiera enterado si no fuera por Grok, asi que otro visto bueno para esa IA :al_a_shrug:
1. Me acabo de dar cuenta lo facil que fue cambiar de LineageOS Microg al puro, literalmente solo fue descargar el .zip del oficial, moverlo a la SD, ir al recovery, hacer format data, como el recovery tiene una opción de "apply update" solo es instalar el .zip mediante eso y listo
2. También aprovechando dicha función se puede instalar Magisk, no es lo ideal ya que lo detectan muchas mas apps pero como no tengo otra forma sin PC (encima de momento no tengo ninguna app que lo detecte) por ahora solo me sirve con ese, me sorprende lo facil que fue, solo fue renombrar el apk de Magisk y con el proceso anterior (sin formatear obvio) se instala normalmente!
Asi que ya por fin tengo AdguardHome y mi fuente (font) que tanto me gusta de nuevo :al_a_hearthug2:

ein seit 10 Jahren rund laufendes Samsung S6 /Android 7 mit einem Customrom zu degooglen, ist das harmlos, sinnvoll, ratsam - möglich?
Ich nutze Orbot, f-Droid, Aurora, OrganicMaps, Signal, Proton-Mail, Thunderbird, Tor, Waterfox, Joplin, Diktiergerät, einen Kalender und die Kamera - also sehr übersichtlich - habe keinen Google- und keinen Samsung-Account -
Ist das Thema degoogle / customrom mein Thema (mit dem Gerät)? Läuft da überhaupt was anderes rund?
Habt Nachsicht Nerds - ich bin ahnungslos, aber neugierig - und gespannt auf eure Meinungen dazu.
