Lately I’ve been trying to read what I feel has something to do with the relationship between sexuality and ritualistic performances; in this case, about dress codes, something I really despise; it’s interesting to see how females can generate (very counterproductive) ‘attacks’ between them when talking a about that. I have an idea, living in Mexico, I’ve saw how female peers slut shame based on clothing, but in a more common, rude way; I think is has something to do with the Catholicism and a more subtle, normal (whatever that means) conservatism (nothing like in the USA). This paragraph caught my attention (Alt-Right folks should research more that lines):
Interestingly, one of the groups that was least inclined to discuss and denigrate girls’ revealing dress was the group of new immigrant youth.
