Personally, if I had like €1M I'd propably consider starting a company that basically builds a "#TinyRetro" with like a #FlashFloppy, #PicoGUS, #QuadFlop and all the other parts (incl. #IDE controller & IDE->SATA Adaptor) on a #MiniITX form factor (with one of those SOMs) and a spare #ISA slot which then fits into a compact case like the #M350 or similar.

• Kinda like the #CommanderX16 but for #16bit & #32bit #PC / #DOS gaming.

Think of it as a faster alternative to the #NuXT...

• And OFC I'd offer both #FreeDOS & @OS1337 as options (the latter one mostly for diagnostics and data recovery)...

#FreeDOS DIR commands has either bug in the help message or the output.

Docs for the /Y and /4 options says “Display 4-digit year”.

DIR uses a 4-digit year by default. When I pass /4 or /Y to it, it shows a 2-digit year.

And don't recommend me using DOSBOX to run DOS applications. I'm need QEMU, since I'm in the middle of patching a disk image for an embedded system and I need to run the CF card image as-is, in addition to normal DOS workflows, when I run from another (virtual IDE) drive.

2 things I need to do before #endof10

1.) pick up a new USB capture card that supports #linux and captures composite and HDMI (I found one already but feel free to leave a link to one if you know a good one)

2.) Pick up a few SSDs for my T420 so that I can triple boot linux, #freedos, and #reactos

Currently I am following along Jim Halls retro experiment. It is my first time using Fedora Linux in my almost 30 year long Linux journey. It is a fun system to use. I don't know why I ignored it for so long.

Si luego queremos escoger AMD o Intel o NVIDIA pues el catálogo se restringe aún más. MSI es el que sigue dando un mayor abanico de modelos.

it's nice that #freedos supports booting from and using the FAT32 file system, but the chkdsk tool doesn't work with it, so what is one supposed to do if there's a FS error?

come on, #freedos and DosZip Commander, i'm moving a file between two directories on the same partition, this should be a quick and easy process, you don't need to actually move the data!
