Hooray! After 4 years on the waiting list we have an #allotment and it is really lovely. We are fortunate that the previous tenants have left a quirky shed, a large fruit cage and a well structured plot. It's going to need lots of organic matter as it doesn't look particularly well cultivated and there's a fair amount of wasted space. Looking forward to putting our stamp on it. It is 5 minutes from home and near a national cycle route. #foodgrowing #slowliving #selfsufficiency #allotmentlife

It's a wet and chilly day so I have been planning what to grown on our city terrace next year. I will order seeds after Christmas and start growing them in early January. I have a Jasmine and Clematis on order.
