Spent a few hours going through my 83yo Dad's Google Drive - it mostly dates from 2008 - 2014 (when I moved his stuff from OneDrive) and he hasn't really used it since.
There are folders copied into sub folders. Multiple duplicates of photos. Photos taken of photos on a computer screen that he already owns digitally.
I reduced his stuff from 9GB to 2.7GB (purely from duplicate deletion) and sorely regret introducing him to the digital age two decades ago.
