Jediným problémem je, že po 6. roce končí podpora (LTS verze) a je doporučeno provést upgrade na novou verzi s LTS. To běžný uživatel z mých zkušeností nezvládne 😬.
Mají to i další distribuce Linux, namátkou třeba #Fedora 🤷🏻♂️.
Nutnost dělat upgrade LTS jsem (zatím) nepoznal u #Arch (konkrétně #EndeavourOS) - tam se vše aktualizuje asi průběžně, u #EndeavourOS je horší správa aktualizace balíčku, kterou já dělám přes terminál, protože jsem zatím nenašel vyhovující program 🤔, který má #Mint a #Ubuntu. To není pro běžného uživatele 🤷🏻♂️.
Letos jsem dělal upgrade z LM19.3 na LM22.1 u 2 kamaradů 😊, což zabralo cca 1 den (na desktop jsem musel dojít 😕, 💻 jsem dostal na víkend domů 💚).
