@Sirs0ri I'd recommend to stick with #Kingston (they source different chips, often SK Hynix) #Samsung (they make their own chips) and #Crucial (which is #Micron's retail brand)...
They are good quality, reliable and work, and most importantly, you'll most likely find them on the #QVL of the #mainboard aka. they are known to work & certified by the mainboard vendor. You'll find it in the manual / documentation of the mainboard.
Always look for the precise SKU of said kit to enshure it works. Espechally when it comes to #ECC, "ranks" and speeds.
If your case has a crammed interior, make shure to check the dimensions as some "low density" Server-SODIMMs are not only ECC but also quite tall and may collide with some desktop coolers.

I don't know what I'm seeing here, but it's the weirdest shit.
I have a TrueNAS server running an a board claiming, in it's IPMI, to be an X10SLL-F
It also claims to only have P1-DIMMB1 and B2, despite the board clearly also featuring A1 and A2.
According to https://www.supermicro.com/manuals/motherboard/C222/MNL-1428.pdf it should also have a dedicated IPMI LAN port (because -F), but the board very clearly does NOT have that.
What IS this board?

Of a sudden, my ASRock X570 Riptide won't power up.
Power button is working properly.
The RGB LED on the board works, so it has power.
Cleared the CMOS via on-board button, but the board refuses to start.
🤔
Next on my list: check CMOS battery. Need to remove graphics card for this. 🙄

If you are in the market for an AMD X870E mainboard then I can recommend the MSI X870E Carbon WiFi.
Seems very well screwed together and robust. More high speed USB 3 ports than any other board I've seen.
Running an Ryzen 9700X with slower latency DDR5 6000 RAM (CL28) with no issues.
Integrated POST diagnostics display debug LED's are very helpful.
The UEFI Firmware seems full featured although there is something going on with the AGESA 1.2.0.2b firmwares as they are being quietly withdrawn by Asrock (reasons unknown). Maybe more testing required? 🫤🤷♂️
