Our very own dedicated Minecraft Server, remains up even when no one is playing. Join the world at any time and play with residents from the Valley. The Valley Minecraft Server is running GeyserMC allowing Bedrock and Java users to play together. The server has tons of mods installed to keep you constantly entertained.

The Minecraft Server uses BlueMap to show players live locations and allow you to always find your way back to base. To view the map simply click the button bellow.

Does anyone know of a good guide to Kotlin (or specifically Minecraft Paper Plugin Development in Kotlin)?

I would prefer something written, but video is okay too

i've heard that kotlin is somewhat easy to learn (especially compared to java), but I might need to learn some java too just to be able to read examples in the papermc docs and rewrite them in kotlin.

any recommendations?

I need to think of a project to make... i want to code something but am stumped

i want to make something that will be useful for me, and hopefully for other people too, and that isn't just some random useless project :/

I've worked with these things before (in Python):

• nextcord (python discord bot framework, my biggest project ive ever made uses this library)
• databases (mostly sqlite)
• REST APIs (I worked on a native Linux client for GroupMe at one point, but stopped working on it because i have no use for it anymore)
• GTK4/Libadwaita
• Flatpak
• Django

I really want to learn these things:

• Writing Minecraft server plugins in Kotlin (priority)
• Reflex (all-python web dev)

any ideas?

I am trying to backup the data directory of a #Minecraft #PaperMC #Server running as #Docker #Container, but accessing those files from #Duplicati running as Docker Container fails.

The more I read (Docker documentation, Github issues, Stackoverflow entries), the more I get confused.

Do you have any tips on what I should read?

Update: I think I found the solution for the issue. Still not an expert, but it works.

Playing on #minecraft 1.20.2 #papermc and my mob drop farm stops working once a second player joins.

Its a classic "mobs spawn on platforms with trapdoors next to them and walk off into water and fall down a chute" design.

I have read something about mobs spawning "between players" now? Is that a thing? plz halp!

Until now, I played #Minecraft game on my #PaperMC Minecraft server, but I noticed I didn't used any plugin. I tried #DynMap (Google like map) but I considered it cheating. So I am now playing only with vanilla Minecraft server.
Of course my Minecraft server is powered by #FreeBSD

Yesterday I migrated my home server from #archlinux to #freebsd
I set static IPv4 and it’s gateway, and I tough that IPv6 with SLAAC set gateway automatically, like the IP address. Unfortunately no. I spent time to investigate and understand why I cannot communicate with others using IPV6. I searched in my #pf rules but it was not the right direction 😅
#adguard and #unbound are working like a charm.
#wireguard is set and configured but in IPV4 only. Now I will search if I can set it with IPV6 and how.
In parallel I will reinstall my #PaperMC server (#minecraft server).
