Estoy agregando algunos cronómetros ⏱️ mediante una nueva función en bash 🖥️ para calcular cuánto falta para el amanecer 🌅 / atardecer 🌇 basado en la API que estoy usando con Conky en antiX 🐧.

I wanted to quickly prove to myself that conky works on Wayland. I finally figured out where I hid some old conky configs. This one is meant to be on the xroot of a server xdm session (yes, it's old!).
Thought I had stuff frittered away into my local git server but this predates apparently. Searching tar.gz files on remote media is a pita.
Oddly, the colours kind of work with the picture of my car in the background. Kismet or I'm a one trick pony, not sure. Ha!
Some work to do to clean this up. Half the elements are missing.

I was inspired by these links: https://merveilles.town/@neauoire/114512760016959177 and tried to use a DejaVu Serif fonts (BTW, I'm always like a Computer Modern serif font) in my system and use a smaller color palette or dithering in my wallpaper/blog header image.
- #StumpWm modeline looks like a good old book
- #Emacs modeline with Serif font looks interesting
- and #conky too
- blog's main page reduced from ~130 Kb to 59 Kb, lol :dragnaww:
Been trying to get a Conky theme working just the way I like it since yesterday. Finally got it dialed in hour several hours... but now I found another theme I like more :( and it's not working out-of-the-box. Time to re-do the pain and agony all over again. #linuxmint #conky
got the 3440x1440 monitor set up yesterday. unwisely switched to it at the same time I switched from #Fluxbox to #QTile. Feeling the change stress.
But, got #Conky working; am getting used to the different layouts, and am enjoying the extra real estate. Need to tweak the fonts and some settings a bit, but feeling more okay with it than I was last night.
That said, anyone know how to set the N E S W margins individually? Tried a few ways; all errored out. Top conky = need bigger margin there.
#ubuntu has been installed and updated to #PluckyPuffin on the #riscv sbc along with #LXDE.
So far it is chugging along quite as long as sound is not required. I’m having issues with sound over #hdmi out. Will have to #tinker around a bit more to see if I can get hdmi audio out to work.
Oh, I am also having issues with #Conky not working. So that something else I will need to play with.

My TTh #AdultESOL class finished Thursday. My SSu class finished today! I have two weekends off and have my TTh nights back (not doing that class again anytime soon - just too much during the regular #k12 school year).
So, of course, the first thing I did this afternoon was have #ChatGPT help me come up with #Mozilla #Firefox userChrome.js to make the keyboard shortcuts more like #emacs.
Also created a script to grab webcam frames for #conky to display (#fluxbox #linux) on the desktop.
