Ich spiele in letzter Zeit endlich mal Divinity 2 und müsste kurz vorm Ende sein.
Divine Divinity ist eines meiner Lieblingsrollenspiele, allerdings habe ich die Geschichte nicht mehr präsent, weshalb ich keinen so großen Bezug zum 2. Teil habe.
Ich werde mich wohl noch bis zum Ende durchquälen, aber wäre es nicht der 2. Teil von einem meiner Lieblingsspiele, hätte ich es schon abgebrochen.
Das Spiel fühlt sich einfach komplett beliebig an.
I've now spent over 100 hours in BG3 and I am still in Act I 😊 To be fair, the first 80 odd hours of that were spent on my first play through, when I didn't have a clue what I was doing and recently abandoned to start again, but it was a good learning experience all the same. When things finally started to click and make sense was the battle with Aunty Ethel I think - the first one I really managed strategically - but by that time I had levelled up my crew pretty badly so the decision to start again was a good one. I have also started playing Divinity Original Sin II, which I had tried and abandoned before, and found that the lessons from BG3 really make the game work for me now.
Spending my first free day with some Divinity: Original Sin 2 from Larian studios. A true gem of clasisc RPG gaming 🙂
Started playing Divinity: Original Sin 2 co-op with my partner this week because we’ve been missing a big RPG like Baldur's Gate 3 (we beat it last year).
Not as flashy or polished feeling as BG3 but you can easily tell it’s the previous game by the studio. Hard but enjoyable so far.
I don't only like Baldurs Gate 3.
I am also quite obsessed with Divinity Original Sin 2. 🫣

Creo que voy a retomar el #Divinity2, que lo había dejado un poco aparcado, aprovechando que estoy a punto de cambiar de acto en la segunda vuelta de #BG3. Esta vez le haré caso a la gente que me aconsejó por aquí empezar una run de origen en vez de personaje custom.
Las ganas de volver a jugar en parte vienen de que el otro día pusimos la banda sonora de fondo en casa para jugar a las Magic (me apetecía la del Baldur's pero no quería hacerle spoiler a mi pareja).
Y hay un detalle de esta banda sonora que me flipa: lo de elegir instrumento musical para tu personaje y que haya varias versiones en función de tu elección. Es algo que esperaría ver en un juego de alguien como Supergiant Games, y me ha sorprendido muy gratamente verlo aquí.

I played some more Divinity 2 last night. We are in the Blackpits right now, and we just finished dealing with Ryker.
While I still overall like the game, it seems to be falling into a pattern that I don't like, which I have seen in other roleplaying games - the writers want you to give up your values if you want to win the game. They seem to think it adds interest or value or makes the game more emotionally gripping or something. I don't like it.
I see the same sort of thing in Baldur's Gate 3, and I'm sure it's not a coincidence that these games are from the same organization.
It's not just these games, though. I see it written into some TTRPG adventures also - you have to do something you would not otherwise do, or you miss out on something important.
Just let me make moral decisions that still give me a path to victory.

Going back and giving #Divinity2 another shot. I played it briefly a couple of years ago, and the main thing I remember was that I got so annoyed by the Red Prince in the first few minutes that I slew him on the beach after the shipwreck. I think I quit playing a few hours later when I had to find a shovel, did some Googling, and learned that he was supposed to be a party member... I've managed to avoid not killing him on the beach again, but as soon as I find a shovel I think I may kick him out regardless.

Nearly every day I think about how good #Divinity2 Original Sin is. I adore the world the mechanics the characters. It's honestly a modern masterpiece.
But I also think about how unobtainable the quality of that game is in terms of my own TTRPG games.
Ultimamente mi sto divertendo molto con Divinity Original Sin 2, arrivato a quasi 60 ore di gioco posso senz'altro affermare che è un bellissimo RPG, per niente banale e con una storia molto coinvolgente, forse l'unico gioco di questo genere che non mi faccia rimpiangere i mitici Baldur's Gate e Icewind Dale!
Lo stracosiglio a tutti quelli che amano gli #rpg vecchio stile ma con una grafica moderna.
