#Gimp3 behaves a bit odd - all settings (active color, active tool, tool settings) are instantiated per input device and switch when the input device is switched. Is there a way to turn that off?

Also, the actual point where each tool registers is a few pixels to the upper left than the crosshair, I suppose that is a bug...

Isn't it weird that we still do not have external tools to be able to work with XCF version 22, the files generated by #GIMP3?

I have installed Gimp 3.04 and the PhotoGimp plugin that makes it look and feel more like Photoshop. Trouble is I haven't used Photoshop for nearly 20 years and have used Gimp since 2000. We'll see how it goes.#Photoshop #Gimp3 #PhotoGimp #LinuxMint

@bosquebill All through 2.10 (when the new drop shadow was introduced), I used "Drop shadow (Legacy)" for that reason: I wanted to be able to modify the shadow, either its position or opacity.

But in 3.0, with non-destructive filters, I'm using the new drop shadow since you can change an ND filter at any time. Non-destructive editing is one of the huge new features of 3.0.
