If the base path of the #portableapps directory has more than 44 Characters #libreoffice portable crashes right when starting. (protableapp suite 30.1.2, libre office portable 25.2.3.2 Win 11)

Hey all.
I'm shifting from using indivitual #PortableApps to using the #PortableApp app. I'd like to move #Calibre to that way, but the Import/Export doesn't work with portable apps. Is there a way to get the PA app to see the old install?

Eine Bekannte von mir (die sehr viel Software testet) hat sich ihre wichtigsten Anwendungen wie Mail, Office, Browser und ein paar andere für sie wichtige Sachen als PortableApps auf eine eigene Partition "installiert". Somit hat sie diese Anwendungen selbst bei einer Neuinstallation sofort und ohne Neuinstallation/Konfiguration und ohne Datenverlust wieder verfügbar.

Ugh.. dang it.... @mixxx is great software but it runs the db and settings files LOCALLY and thus in spite of installing it portable you still need to get into system files to access to DB. You can't roam with your database. You have to overwrite whatever is in the local library.
That is super annoying. A truly portable Mixxx would have been so great. At least I know now rather than tomorrow.
The best part? My boss is on holidays, and I have nobody to ask for authorization. Can’t be more thankful for the existence of #portableapps than today. Saved my day 😅
It's great that Meta and Google have kindly directed me to look elsewhere for their replacements.

@ginaintheburg Are you shure you don't conflate @torproject / #TorBrowser with @tails_live / @tails / #Tails, which is a #Linux #distro with #Tor & Tor #Browser setup and ready to use.
- OFC there had been some "#PortableApps" / #portable #TorBrowser installations.that can be put.on a #flashdrive, but usually that's not how the stanalone Tor Browser is being used.
Confusingly Tails has been absorbed by the #TorProject but that's a different story...
- That being said for the few #Websites that explicitly.choose to #BlockTor #Firefox is still the way to go.
As for #Accessibility, maybe the combination of a #HeadMountedDisplay & wireless Keyboard + Mouse combo offers you the desired flexibility...
- Not to mention Tor Browser is available on #Android via @fdroidorg and #GooglePlay as well as directly from Tor Project as a Download...

@libreoffice Today, non-portable versions went to 24.8.0 for the newest stable and 24.2.6 for the previous stable branch (EOL november). Portable is still stuck at 24.2.3 for the "newest stable" version. Not so far in the past, it is only 4 month late, but I can find no sign of a future update. Maybe I am bad at searching this, maybe you know something helpful?
Portable versions of LibreOffice , does anyone here know what is happening with those? @libreoffice? It seems like it's been months without one to download on LibreOffice's site. The page is still there, but there are no direct links, only placeholder text.
On PortableApp , "Fresh" is 24.2.3, lagging behind the non-portable "Still" which is today 24.2.5. (Portable "Still" is 7.6.7.)
Will a up-to-date portable LO come back soon?
