Does anyone in #science community here have a handle on the publisher "World Scientific"? Are they #predatory?

I got a request for reviewing a paper for one of their #journal. I skimmed over the manuscript:

- methodologically sound
- interesting experiment
- self built apparatus, but manuscript fails to mention key performance figures
- too much filler text introducing basic textbook math (written for readers in the medical field?)
- statistics given, but I didn't check them yet
