Previous #breadboard abominations interfacing a FT245 to a #rc2014 have been done largely from memory and having several webpages open.

I figured it was time to actually capture a #schematic and I also updated the logic to include bit 7 of the 6850 control register (interrupt enable) and an open collector interrupt request.

Rebuilt it with the new logic using the schematic and it all still works, along with better interrupt capability.

Still a mess though!

Since I've never needed to build any low frequency active filters, I'm going to spin a proto board to see how they work. Set up for a dual op-amp footprint, and a Sallen Key on one side, and a multiple feedback on the other.

#Leonovo #ideapad 520s does not charge and does not run from power supply, but runs from power supply with unplugged battery?

In my case, the broken part was PQ305, AON7408L in DFN8-5 package, on the PCB side that faces the keyboard.

The metal foil is best removed from the inside with a toothpick through those two holes.

I used hot air to replace the part.

Part cost shipped: 10€ (10 pcs - anyone need 9?)
Diagnosis time: ~1 hour
Replacement time: ~30min
