What's the #developers crowd opinion on #widescreen for a #macbook? For web #frontend work it would be nice to run 2 or 3 browsers with the app, along with #vscode, but a single QHD screen doesn't cut it.

Thrilled with the redscale images from the 'new to me' Horizon 202 panoramic camera. Yes, there was slight banding on some of the images, and others looked a little funny for redscale, but on the whole they were awesome.

@wyatt I can think of one kind of 2D game that benefits from a widescreen patch. Some platformers use heavy "dual forward focus" in the camera, showing more of the map on the side of the screen that the player is facing to give the player more time to react to hazards. Think Yoshi's Island for SNES, the Sonic games for Game Gear, or Full Quiet for NES. A widescreen patch reduces camera movement when turning around, which could improve accessibility for players with motion sickness.
