Ich renne nicht mit 12 verschiedenen Räuchermischungen durch die Bude und packe alle Divinationswerkzeuge der Reihe nach aus. Heute sitze ich da, esse Joghurt, Stövchen mit Weihrauch weil ich den mag, eine Kerze brennt und ich reflektiere, wo ich stehe und wo ich hin will und habe dabei schon mehr Balast losgelassen als würde ich gerade noch die richtigen Öle und Kräuter suchen. Karten lege ich mir gleich noch, weil ich mein Tarot einfach mag.

Ich hätte echt gerne eine ästhetische, Insta-taugliche magische Praxis. Aber das schaffe ich einfach nicht und am Ende mache ich mir nur Druck und mache dann doch nix. Also fuck it. Wenn ich meine Intentionen zwischen Chipskrümeln und Keksdose setze und meinem Kerze neben Wasserglas und Kopfhörer entzünde, macht es nichts davon weniger wert oder kraftvoll. #witchythings

These candle holders are made from a locally fallen Locust tree branch. As they are a hardwood, it takes time to saw, drill, and sand them to the state ready for use. The bark, with it’s lichen and moss growth, is left intact to maintain it’s natural beauty, bringing the outdoors in.

They’re perfectly sized for birthday candles, when you don’t have a cake, or just want to light a small candle for use in you sacred space.

Manchmal plant man Rituale, bereitet sie vor, besorgt Zutaten, erstellt Sigillen etc. Und manchmal findet man beim Wandern eine Nusschale, legt spontan ein Symbol für den Wunsch hinein und verscharrt sie im Wald. Magie muss nicht aufwendig sein. #witchythings

Echo Zines is a creative project by Nina Zina (she/they) that is based in Belgium. As Echo Zines, Nina produces zines, postcards, stickers, buttons, and spell bags (and she plays in the feminist witch punk band Lavender Witch!). The witch zines that Nina makes talk about herbal magic, amulets, self-love potions, mundane witchcraft, and personal reflections about skeptical witchery. Echo Zines’ stickers and buttons feature sigils for self-empowerment and for queer, anti-racist, and accessibility activism, and the postcards depict witches in various settings. Through their Echo Zines creative project, Nina Zina produces (witchy) zines, postcards, and stickers. The zines talk about things like herbalism, amulets, music as magic, and mundane witchery. Nina sews spell bags with natural and repurposed ingredients for self-care and community care and enjoys sigil design, magical artjournaling, and cartomancy. Here's what I'm currently reading. From the title and small size you might think it's just fluff but nope.

It's about unlearning the assumptions of capitalist, white supremacist society in order to learn to love yourself as a radical act.

This little book is bringing me back to myself. Every page is now covered in notes, highlights, and thoughts. It's making me confront a lifetime of self-negation, guilt, and shame. It's helping me get to a place where I can finally feel that I deserve joy.

Some books really can change your life, and this for me is one.
