Some #photos from my husband's Wednesday #walk in mid/west #Dundee, #Scotland. Have to include some of the amazing #buzzards he saw, including flying above #DundeeLaw, as well as his view from there towards #BroughtyCastle and the #BellRockLighthouse beyond. #Photography #BroughtyFerry #Tayside #Angus #Seaside #Tay #RiverTay #Lighthouse #BellRock #Buzzard #Birds #Birding #BirdPhotography #BirdingPhotography #Castle #Castles #NorthSea #Tunnel #Tunnels #Wood #Woods #RailwayHistory #RailwayTunnels

Through the tunnel a circular ringed green wooded path can be seen.A buzzard seen from below flying with its wings and tail feathers spread wide. Its tail is light and brown, its wide wings much darker in places.Hazy sunny view looking across blue River Tay towards Broughty Castle, and beyond that the North Sea and in the distance white Bell Rock LighthouseA buzzard seen close up, perched high on a communications tower, facing left against a clear blue sky, looking over the city of Dundee

The passage of #raptors continues with returning Eurasian Griffon #Vultures powering across The #Straits.

The tagged White-backed #Vulture at the Jbel Moussa on the Moroccan coast of The Straits looked to attempt to cross into Europe today but bottled it!

So STILL 2 White-backed and 4 Rüppell´s Vultures tantalising close Europe!

Over 600 Griffon Vultures alongside European Honey #Buzzards, Booted and Short-toed #Eagles, Black #Kites and more were much less hesitant!

The flow of European Honey #Buzzards attracting their own dedicated admirers, we are of course among them!

A Western Black-eared #Wheatear did cause us briefly to avert our gaze from the flow of #raptors!
