I'm staying at the #place where I am #today for a few weeks. There are so many street sellers nearby and I've found HDMI cables, old-school audio cables, various USB drives and devices...

Yesterday my mouse started going crazy so I went out on the street and quickly found a seller with a box of them. I figured there was a good chance a mouse I bought that way wouldn't function but the price was very low so I chose one to see what would happen. It works perfectly! It's super smooth and it even has a cool color LED strip. Score!

In my spring cleaning/tidying/organizing, I found this USB #adapter and have no idea what it is for. It was in a box of odds & ends that came from the shutdown #auction of a #startup, so who knows if I have the rest of the device. The round disc the #USB cable is connected with is not that large, with two metal contacts being the primary focus. The reverse has the logos for #FCC, #ce and don’t throw it away” with it being made in #China and “#patent pending”. Great clues we have to go with….

Any thoughts?

And last for today is some cinema & studio displays that I used on my old #G3 and #G4 systems.
- 20” cinema display (A1038 code on the back)
- 17” studio display (M7649 code on the reverse)

They worked great, still love the picture on them but I’m no longer running the associated systems.
If you have a need for these, give me shout – I would love to get this to a good home than taking up space in my garage.

Dated 2000, it has the code 820-1173-A on the board. This board still had the plastic spacer on the #CMOS battery!

This was another #EFM #electronicsFleaMarket find before it became #ewaste

My GPU blew a capacitor, most likely due to this house being consistently 90+ degrees all week because the legal roommate refused to deal with the a/c again, and it ignited a fire in my box.

I am limited to my laptop where I don't do any of my work and don't have any of my data (files/programs) on it either.

I can't afford to do anything about it.

I don't know how much more I can take.
