So, you might be wondering why I randomly posted a picture of the global jet streams. I don't even see mention of food insecurity here.
When that hits, it will add a whole extra dimension to this problem.
I feel like we're not preparing it all for that either.
And while long-term it's difficult to prepare for overall less growability caused by climate, the short-term shock of intermittent unavailability, which is probably what we'll see first, could at least be lessened by proper planning, giving us a better ability to have a public discussion before there is simply outright panic.

My parents’ garden failed this year. This is devastating because they are poor and rely on their crops to feed themselves and their chickens.
