Just seen the #RaspberryPi500Plus on the latest #ExplainingComputers video, gotta say it looks awesome imho!
I saw a video from #ExplainingComputers youtube video how #ReactOS has improved.
It is still buggy but surprisingly it works decently now than before.
Admittedly though I only tried on vmware and not on bare metal so it may end up similar to danooct1's reactos baremetal videos
I mean, #ChrisBarnatt from #ExplainingComputers literally makes easy-to-digest content (and for those that prefer/have to use reading over watching and/or listening there are writeups everywhere!) going over #migrating from #Windows to #Linux.
Seriously, for everyone who wants to make up excuses for why they still use #Windows should really shove the few shitty #Apps that won't run on #Wine into a #VM.

It’s officially official: Christopher Barnett of #ExplainingComputers has had a cup of tea!
Fortunately, when I specified my dual-boot computer (Windows and Linux), I followed the advice on the excellent www.explainingcomputers.com website with Windows on one drive and Linux on a different one. As a result, I don't use "grub" to switch between Windows and Linux.

These videos massively increased my confidence in experimenting with both software and hardware. I feel that the very human way he approaches the field is a model for anyone teaching in a technical discipline.
#ARM processors can use Closed Instruction Set Architecture #ISA and Open Instruction Set Architecture? Was watching the latest #ExplainingComputers and he first lists ARM as Closed ISA, then he says ARM in mobile devices use Reduced Instruction Set Architecture #RISC with is Open ISA.
