New weird grift seems to be dropping on birdsite. There's a number of these fake brand accounts for newer indie game releases, created without the knowledge or sanction of the actual developers, masquerading as official accounts. @fuchsiii Yeah, so definitely not in the cards for many #IndieDevs that use @godot / @godotengine / #GodotEngine to begin with.

• Because [not for all!] for many the #costs are one big factor to chose #Godot over #Unity.

OFC there's @defold / #defold as well but this will definitely make it easier for #IndieDevelopers and #freelance #Animators to #collab and get quite good animations done well.

• Cuz not everyone wants to do animations manually in #blender and then export still frames as #sprites like with #DeadCells...

I’m toying with this idea of “personality driven software development” — software that is largely shaped by the personality, humanity, trauma, quirks, interests of the (usually single) main author of it.
