@Larvitz @jwildeboer I just re-tooled the Ansible for my "private cloud" to use the Traefik configuration from that blog post and tested it on a VM at Hetzner. 20 minutes to a private cloud with the following components:

I also have a playbook to automate the backups (on and off-site)
MY #MullvadVPN finally switched to #Wireguard. The docs were pretty good and I think the move away from #OpenVPN is probably a good idea.

TIL that, if your #OpenVPN peer uses a self-signed certificate, you can set the --ca option to that self-signed #certificate. Even though it is not actually marked as a CA certificate, this will work anyway.
Presumably because that technically *is* the CA of the peer's certificate. A self-signed certificate lists itself as the issuing CA. That's why it's called “self-signed”.

it looks like #wireguard changes the interface and with it the ip while runnign a tunnel. E.g. client connects to server on interface eth0 ipv6 ip 1234:: and later #wireguard answers from lo0 with IPv6 ip 2345:: . this kills my tunnel in a upstream scenario using bird bgp insidfde the tunnel.
Is there any way to bind wireguard to a interface /ip / port?
