I just want to say thank you to everyone who working for #Plasma desktop and some beautiful KDE program that I use some for my job. In this valentine day which also marked as #ilovefs, I really want to give an big thanks to everyone at KDE and some communities. I hope in future, Linux desktop will being helpful for anyone who doesn't want to use Windows anymore.

Middle-class Americans are selling their plasma to make ends meet
Last year, people in the U.S. made an estimated $4.7 billion selling their plasma. Donation centers are popping up in middle-class neighborhoods, including suburban strip malls and college towns.
Inside a suburban Philadelphia strip mall, between the Hair Cuttery and a Citizens Bank, a dozen people lay on black ergonomic beds a few feet apart, hooked up through a needle in the crook of their arms to machines pumping blood out of their veins. They were there to sell their plasma in exchange for $65 on a prepaid debit card.
Ian Pleasant, 43, had come that morning to get some extra money for toilet paper and pet food.
'I’m making enough money now doing DoorDash to keep up with the bills, but for anything else in the house, this is going to help out, he said, as he waited for an employee at the B Positive plasma center in Holmes, Pennsylvania, to insert a thick needle into his arm.
About an hour later, the employee came back to collect a container of his straw-colored plasma that would be tested, frozen and turned into medicines sold for a profit to patients around the world."
@jloc0 I was at some point going to install your #kde6 but I realised it was gone when I did an update/upgrade and Falkon was using Qt5. :bunnesad:
So I took the plunge and installed #ktown It's working fine and falkon behaves now. Running as the wayland session. I'm not a huge fan of big DEs but I'll keep it around until/if it ever makes -current.
BTW, @r1w1s1 I ran the check depends script and about the same as amount as last time is slightly broken. All apps still functional though.
BTW, the plasma sales are not a new story, not even the middle-class doing it. This has been going on for years on end. Heck, I've had colleagues who sold their plasma to make ends meet.

Hey, so a family member installed #KDE #Plasma Desktop on top of a Fedora Gnome installation (has both DE's installed, but started with Gnome) and is loving the Plasma desktop... but KDE Wallet doesn't seem to play nice with whatever GPG keys were automatically set up on #Gnome. I'm not totally clear on what's happening, but it's presenting a password field that he doesn't know (or, if he does, it's not being accepted), and I'm told this wasn't an issue on Gnome? Any thoughts?
