Tenkte egentlig å gå tilbake til Bazzite nå som jeg har løst hardware-problemene til den stasjonære PC'en, men jeg må innrømme at Pop!_OS :popos: fra @system76 har vokst kraftig på meg og blir nok værende en stund altså.

Noen rariteter er det, spesielt relatert til to skjermer og spill som krever tastatur og mus, men alt i alt er dette operativsystemet imponerende smooth og bra.

For whatever reason upgrading PopOs caused it to stop seeing any wifi networks or possibly not seeing my card at all.

I have to boot into the fallback kernal just to get it working again

I cant find anything online thats helpful. Does anyone else have any ideas?

I swear to god the #Linux #gaming challenge on #LTT, with Linus specifically, will always be cursed lololol. Linus picking #popOS (on ideal #AMD hardware) and experiencing so many issues I have never, ever seen or experienced on something like #EndeavourOS for yeaaaars now without any special configuration or wtv (on #NVIDIA even) genuinely reinforces my opinion (backed by experience) that #ArchLinux based distros (minus vanilla Arch or #Manjaro) is always somehow the better, more user-friendly experience for #Windows users or gamers in general. Seriously. #Ubuntu (perhaps even #Debian) based distros just ain't it, most of the time (for these users). There's a reason the most popular gaming distros rn are both based on Arch, #Valve 's #SteamOS and the 'hot' distro atm, #CachyOS.

J'avais un projet en tête et j'avais besoin de #krita sauf que ma tablette #huion a décidé de ne plus être reconnu par le pengouin.

Je viens de trouver la solution mais ce n'est pas beau: c'est l'environnement de bureau donc... bon, #gnome est assez compatible avec cosmic pour éviter d'autres problème donc j'ai installé le gnome vanille.

Au moins, je peux retourner facilement sur Cosmic quand mon projet sera terminé. A+!

Quelle #distribution #linux pour remplacer #PopOs . Une si possible europeenne, avec des mises à jour régulière, un design assez sympa quand même, si possible avec base #debian #gnome ou #kde voir autre pas de pb. Pour portable, usage quotidien sans jeux, mais écriture et photos.

nope, i don't like cosmic desktop, is poor, to much basic, i liked #popOS with gnome but cosmic no. i'm thinking to change of distro #linux

I upgraded my laptop from #popos 22.04 to 24.04. There was only one minor hitch, with the fingerprint scanner.

Laptop is #Dell Inspiron 16 Plus 7620. Although I'm not happy with the build quality of the laptop and wouldn't recommend the laptop, the Pop OS experience has been great.

To my knowledge System76 is the first Distro developer to make a statement against the age verification laws coming into affect. It's reassuring to see a big player in the PC, and more specifically Linux, space speak out on what's happening. And while it sucks that they do have to comply I hope others see their blog post and take a moment to speak out too.

Also it's pretty cool that I decided to install PopOS as my every day Distro and not even a whole week later they speak out against what's going on. Definitely helps reinforce my decision to pick them.
