Syncthing 결코 다시
Resilio Sync 3.0은 상업용 라이선스를 판매하지 않으면서도 한국어로 상업용에 쓸 수 없도록 제한하고 있다. 상업용 라이선스는 엔터프라이즈 급 컨설턴트 서비스로만 파는 듯하다. BYOD 시대인데 용도를 명확하게 어떻게 구분해야할 지…….
5년 전에는 Syncthing을 써 볼 때는 고용량 파일 동기화 시에 파일이 변조하여 오동작하였고, 해시 체크하면 서버 간에 파일이 상이했다. 모든 파일을 폐기하며 이용을 중지했다.
독립 랩이 늘어나며 Synology Drive 이용이 어려워 몇 개월 전부터 다시 Syncthing을 시험 가동했다.
600GB 정도의 이미지 저장소였고, 이번에 130GB 패키지 파일을 동기화했다. 수신 쪽 해시 맞춰보고 괜찮으면 계속 쓸 듯하다.

I am syncing the original files & BMPG-generated proxy Files with
#ResilioSync . I want to use BM Cloud for Proxy Files, Timelines, & Power Bins, but I'm unsure how to configure it.
I keep doing it wrong.

my #ResilioSync setup has been running for years but i'm starting to run into open file limits and a lot of scan thrashing. i'm making some adjustments to the #resilio parameters in the advanced options but i think i really need to further distribute the folders i'm sharing and syncing to reduce the depth and volume i think.
#seafile is really impressive but not as easily integrated into my #householdIT at all, unfortunately. i'll try it when i built a new filer.
@jchaven no thank you but i am comfortable using truenas scale via proxmox and shoveling raw disks to zfs!? but that doesn't address the live filesystem aspect does it? that's the really interesting part about SuiteStudios is that all members of a team have a local filesystem mount of some sort that is pooled?
i have an atrocious #ResilioSync situation due to the number of shares and files involved apparently.

i am still looking for something better than #resiliosync because i have a lot of shares and the io cost is huge, pummeling my synology filers and other storage because of high resource utilization.
i want to try #seafile but the server side of it is also demanding and i don't know it would be better based on what i am seeing while testing. my main use case is my photo ingest share, dotfile shares for workstations and one shared one, and several others. nothing supports #macOS metadata well?
Hat es schon jemand geschafft eine #ResilioSync Lizenz über das CLI (ohne web UI) hinzuzufügen?

After using #syncthing #resiliosync and #seafile for some years I'm thinking about migrating to #pydio
Tools like #Dropbox of course are not real alternative
Idk if its my specific choice of distro in #KDENeon, but I'm feeling a bit burnt out with so much fiddling with the #Linux command line and system files.
I've had to learn by too much trial and error how to set #ResilioSync, and I've spent HOURS trying to set up a remote desktop solution in order to remotely control my desktop through #SamsungDex to absolutely no avail.
With this much fiddling and frustration, I'm wondering if I should hop back to Windows.
Gotta back up EVERYTHING precious on my computer, though. Gotta, in fact, figure out how I can back up my #Thunderbird data and my #ResilioSync stuff. (I don't use the cloud to store my stuff)

I'd like to get #PLEX and #ResilioSync working first, but I may do others.
