I have a question though: why don't you have a dedicated mobile app? Maybe there is the answer somewhere but I haven't found it

#Startmail so far (and I like it):

• possibility to send encrypted emails and emails protected by a password
• unlimited aliases, no matter the plan you chose
• possibility to program filters (example: if the email contains a certain word, it goes in the folder you chose for this kind of email)You can also find a comparison with Protonmail here

@WastedRadiance for what I see about #startmail I like it already. But they don't have apps for smartphones (we can pin the website on the smartphones screen though)

After testing multiple alternatives, I’ve reached the conclusion that I won’t be able to fully de-#Google.

I moved my photos to iCloud (even though search sucks) and I might move my email to #Fastmail (#StartMail wasn’t worth the money), but there‘s nothing out there for Google Calendar + Google Maps that isn’t Apple Calendar + Apple Maps, and I hate both so I’m stuck with Google 🙃

I'm not familiar with System1 as a company.

I have tried using Privacy Tools (privacytools.io) @privacytools to look things up. They listed Startpage/Startmail on there but this thread has me hmmmm.....

So, status of my #deGoogling efforts as of this morning: I managed to successfully move my custom email domain to #StartMail - meanwhile, Tuta is entirely down & I can't access my calendar (or the email associated with it).

Seems I made the right choice, at least between those two 😁 here's hoping Start will add a calendar soon 🤞
