This is a closeup photo of a maple leaf that has fallen on a paved accessible hiking trail that wanders through the woods. It was taken after a period of significant autumn rainfall, so the ground is quite wet, as are the surrounding leaves on the trail. The leaf is light brown in colour, is laying flat on the pavement and it has a number of water droplets sitting on top of it. The surrounding leaves are glistening as they are very wet. The water drops on the leaf are clearly in focus and vary in size.
