Звітую: успішно поставив #androidx86 на #VirtualBox на #Linux і запустив на ньому довбаний #telegram .
Якщо комусь потрібно "зберегти зв'язки з кимось-там", вважаю це набагато кращим варіантом, ніж анальний зонд русні в телефоні з доступом до камери, мікрофона, картинок, геолокації і всього іншого життя.
З мінусів - все ще розкриває ip-адресу, є прив'язка до аккаунту #google та номеру телефона.
Для публічних каналів, очевидно, не так зручно, місток в #RSS , як на мене, практичніше.

A desktop mode launcher for Android
Smart Dock is a desktop mode launcher for Android (mostly intended for QEMU).
Note: The application should be installed as a system app in order to obtain the right permissions. Without this functionallity will be limited.

Supposedly #RedHat has decided to depreciate #VirtManager in favor of #Cockpit. Cockpit will likely get Red Hat’s money instead of Virt-Manager, although development of Virt-Manager will still continue—likely independently. Cockpit seems modern and nice, but apparently requires hosts and guests to use #Systemd, which would rule out my usage of virtualizing OSes like #Androidx86, I believe. I guess I could use #VirtualBox for those OSes in given no other option.

My refined my plan:
I’ll use #Fedora as my base OS—it is leading edge, & fresh enough. Then, I’ll use #Ubuntu and #AndroidX86 on #KVM & #QEMU (with PCI passthrough) for touch apps & programs that Fedora doesn’t have. Running a type-1 #BareMetal #hypervisor should get me up to near-native speeds. Finally, I’ll use #WINE #Flatpaks #Snaps and #Appimages for everything else. I’ll only install the absolute essentials on Fedora—not #immutable but probably dependable.

honestly the overhead is very minimal, just not very user friendly. there's an android port of inferno out there, would be nice to have a more native integration with the host os eventually.
as you can see, i'm feeling emotionally drained so i'm trying to avoid feeling anything by being very logic into the machine. yayy :tada:

the only downside i've found so far on #androidx86 is lack of multi monitor support. ok there are other downsides, but i'm having a fun time figuring out all of the edges that need to be buffed. the largest of which is that i can't boot into android directly yet.
Bon BlissOS c'est pas mal mais y a quand même des choses qui fonctionne pas. C'est con je l'aurais bien foutu pour ma mère mais ces jeux semble ne pas fonctionner (genre ils ne répondent pas au clic ...) et il détecte pas le Chromcast non plus.
