Have any #Linux users tried this? It's called Swiss File Knife, and is a #FOSS utility available via Sourceforge.
It contains 100 command line utilities of various types.
It downloads to Linux as a single binary and is pretty easy to run and use so far.
Kind of fascinating, too, that it's cross-platform...
I haven't used it much but I'm wondering if it might be simpler than some similar Linux utilities.

(AI Chat at Duck.com) Um...so, in contrast to DuckDuckGo's delayed arrival in the search scene: Their new, private, free, multiple-model AI chat is kind of amazing?
Compared to the alternatives I'm seeing and currently paying for, anyway...

OMG it really is the year of the Linux desktop! πŸ€”β€‹Signs of normalcy and modernization have come to our dear little Nano...

Useful things in #Linux lately: apt-clone, #emacs & #elisp, #rakulang, #smallbasic (github version), silver searcher (ag), htop, pal calendar, #gimp, #kolourpaint, #vlc, #doublecommander, #gambas3, #geany, and distros like #manjaro, #pclos, #almalinux, #kubuntu, and #q4os
Pictured: An old photo of my #UbuntuStudio desktop from 2009, watching "The Cat From Outer Space".
The same system ran WinXP and Win 7 inside of VMs, allowing use of Adobe software and other Windows apps.
At the time I had been using Linux full-time at my business for about 4-5 years.
Soon I would take a Linux netbook with me for working abroad (running Ubuntu's netbook distro), along with a Nokia n810 as media station. The years 2009-2012 were, in my work, the second big wave of Linux on the Desktop. It was extremely fun and I'm still trying to recapture some of the enjoyment of those days, which faded a bit with the rise of the cloud.

OK, here's a post-upgrade screenshot for the #Kubuntu #Linux 22.04 setup. Other systems are running #Q4OS, #PCLOS, #Manjaro, and other stuff. Dual-monitor screenshot...
I still find PCManFM worth using so it's open there on Desktop 1. Also: Shaded Chrome & Geany; Conky with remote monitoring going; QMMP playing some old school CD music.
Desktop 2 is kind of a Plasmoid experiment since I just moved from Xubuntu and #XFCE, still a favorite but I'm trying #KDE this time around. A few movies are also running over there, often muted but adding some interest to the day.
A while back I also made some wallpapers from favorite old software boxes, book covers, etc. PCManFM is showing some of my IA favorites as thumbnails; these are randomly selected from a collection of 1000+ via cron every 45 minutes and I use them for meditation and inspiration in my research for a meditation method I'm working on.
I also shaded Kate and Konsole over there. This concludes the tour!

Just some computer systems reflection...Lately I'm using #Manjaro and #PCLOS and #win11 which is quite new and unexpected this year. #KDE is still really neat, I find, and 2007-Kubuntu-user-me is like, "see?" but I also like #xfce very much. I need to decide how to run #HaikuOS again, too. Netbook is an idea but it has a lovely install of #q4os on there and makes a nice casual writing tool.

PCLINUXOS feels like Enterprise Linux with the advantage of rolling release model and up-to-date software.
Very steady lady she is. XFCE edition is my work machine and am also playing around with the KDE edition. Both feel solid. #pclos
