In the 3D viewer a voxel anchor I extracted from a single model, edited, splitting it into a hierarchy and saved as a new multi-model world. 
Open on the right is the World Explorer window. It features the hierarchy of the anchor multi-model. It includes two Linked Models/References. They have different icons to the other models, and a link icon on the right to show which models are linked together. The link icons only show when a user selects one of the linked models.

It will also be useful for setting up very large scenes for rendering, like clouds over a Minecraft world for ex.

#LibrePlanet event from #ShirazLinux in #Shiraz, #Iran is over. I enjoyed most lectures and also the LAN party. There weren't many people participating at the our #Luanti LAN party. I think not more than 10. But the ones who participated, were active and interested. We didn't have a #hackathon as participants weren't ready for that. But I showed them the code, told them about Luanti and #Lua and explained part of the code such as landmine code, parts of spike code and I think I also explained parts of chest code to them.

It seems that their fear was gone after I walked them through the code and told them about different features needed in the game. Some were thinking to do PRs after this. I reminded them that there are some very simple but very wanted features they could add with very few lines of code. I also introduced them the #JMA server.

Let's hope we will get some hands in #MinetestCTF and also a bigger player base :)

BTW, I carried a pack of 3.5" floppy disks to gift to people under 18 there. But at the LAN party, everyone were above 18. So I'm returning all floppy disks back home XD

Maybe I had to increase the minimum age requirement? Anyway, next time I'm loading the floppies with FreeDOS and digger game. Rather than giving away raw floppies.

Very happy with the work I just finished on Avoyd's voxel to optimized binary glTF mesh. It's a lot faster than the alternatives I've tried, uses less memory and produces very good result for this style of voxelized mesh.

The wheels and some of the trim are a shiny metallic material, the windows and light covers are transparent and the lights glow slightly. The model has been exported from Avoyd Voxel Editor to the glTF binary format.

The glTF (.glb) format turns out to be reasonably simple once you've used it, but like many formats it's often a little hard to parse the documentation. So Syoyo's lib has been pretty helpful as there's a simple example of building a glTF from scratch. Images and binary buffer location wasn't covered, so that's taken me a bit to figure out.

I now have working pbr materials, with transparency to come.

I have yet to add normals, texture coordinates and PBR material data, but hopefully this should lead to a direct voxel pipeline from Avoyd to UE5, Unity, and Godot.
