I've just moved servers, so I thought I'd better do an #introduction post. I never really did one before, as I wasn't really sure what to say, so hopefully I'll cover all the bases with this one!

I'm a late 50's dreadlocked #Vegan #ActuallyAutistic cis white guy in Telford in the #WestMidlands of the #UK. LGBQT ally. Anti-fascist; Anti-racist; Anti-oppression. Husband and father to several neurospicy children and step-children.

I hate exploitation, oppression and authoritarianism of all sorts.

I'm a #ComputerGeek by trade, and #Maker in my spare time - I love #Linux #FreeBSD #RaspberryPi #Arduino #Python #3DPrinting #LaserCutting #Inkscape. I'm active at my local #RepairCafe and a former #Makerspace founder.

I work #PartTime these days, mainly due to having done 30+ years of high-stress roles in #IT and crashing and burning (#AutisticBurnout) about 5 years ago, just before the #Covid pandemic and eventually slowly putting myself back together.

I make stuff on my #LaserCutter and #3Dprinter; I #Upcycle things like old wooden pallets or old furniture. Occasionally #dabble in #Electronics; hack wood and metal and electronic gadgets.

Music-wise, I'm predominantly into grunge, punk, dub, with a bit of psytrance and electronica on the side.

I love #Art especially amateur/small scale artists. Occasionally try to do my own, in Acrylic paint, or lately wood.

Don't watch TV or netflicks, but I *do* watch some YouTube and PeerTube channels but don't "follow" any.

I think that covers most of it. I hope nobody objects to the hashtag soup!

Thinking of taking my technologist skills freelance. Would authors or anyone be interested in remote assistance to help with computer issues/website updates (i.e. you log in, I remote in and help/guide/do while you watch vs. giving me access and letting me do it), or technology consulting as part of Epona Author Solutions?

The first time I peeked inside this book, I thought I’d fallen in a well and smacked my head. It was utter gibberish.

A week later I was a wizard, wielding previously unknown powers, casting powerful spells of extraction and substitution far and wide. I was sucked in to the beauty and power of regular expressions and there was no looking back.
