Genauso wie wenn Leute gesagt bekommen dass #Bloatware wie #GeForceExperience es aus guten Gründen nicht unter #Linux gibt bzw. Probleme an #nvidia liegen, nicht an #Linux!

#WindowsXP kann (ohne modifizierte Installationsmedien) weder #SCSI noch #SATA geschweige denn #SAS oder #NVMe-Medien nativ booten und erkennen und verlangt zwingend die #Treiber auf 3,5" #Diskette (!!!)
Das Problem besteht bis einschließlich #Windows7 fort, samt Unfähigkeit ohne Spezialsoftware von #USB-Speichersticks & -Festplatten wie SSDs zu installieren.
#Windows8 & #Windows 8.1 hat immerhin #SATA-Triber bekommen und
Erst ab #Windows10 gab's #NVMe-Support ohne Frickelei.
Von der Fummelei keinen #MicroShit-Accoint für #Windows11 zu brauchen und zu verhindern dass jenes #Govware-OS konstant alle Dateien in #OneDrive hochlädt noch garnicht angefangen.

Dass fundamentale #Treiber bis heute nicht in #Windows integriert sind und wie in den 1990ern #Treiber händlisch reingeprügelt werden müssen ist auch ein Unding dass es so glücklicherweise nie unter #Linux gab.

Klar Murks alla #nvidia und einige beschissene Geräte sind immernoch beschissen, aber so #Bloatware wie #GeForceExperience gibt's aus guten Gründen nicht…

Meine Beispiele bei Windows sind noch nichtmals weirde Edge-Cases sondern fundamentale Funktionen…

#Linux mag zwar in seltensten Fällen auf Konsole crashen, aber es kann von dort wenigstens repariert oder sogar benutzt werden!

Ugh, what's widely considered the best graphics card of all time, the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080Ti is seeing driver support end this month (along with several other models).

I've been using this card for 8 years and an RTX-3080 is not an upgrade compared to it. It's significantly faster than the RTX-3060 for non-raytraced games (like No Man's Sky, my game) and has 11GB of RAM, 3 GB more than the 3080.

This is painful news.

I play latest No Man's Sky all Ultra settings at 2560x1600 and get avg around 75-85fps (ranging from 60 - 140 depending on the scenery).

This videocard is the best money I have ever spent on any piece of computer hardware in my lifetime. Truth. I paid $750 for it in early 2018.

сегодня мне везет на долбоебов. Приложение Geforce Experience решило обновить драйвера на видеокарту, вроде обновило, даже не требуя перезагрузки Windows. Самая дорогая компания в мире, не хуй собачий! Могет.
И проебалось на последнем этапе, когда опять открыло себя. Оно проебало масштаб экрана и открылось крошечными буквами. А вот если бы не выебывались и перегружались как все, такого бы не было! #Nvidia #Geforce Experience

GeForce Experience 앱이 NVIDIA 앱으로 바뀌면서 게임 영상 녹화 시에 다시 커서가 보이게 되었다.

다행히 오래 전의 KB가 지금도 잘 동작한다.

레지스트리 파일 실행해서 명령 추가해주고서 피씨를 껏다 켜면 된다!

I still freaking hate the Nvidia Geforce Experience LOGIN.... why why why ? All I use the app for is to download new drivers... why the $#@! do I have to log in.

And of course whenever you need to, it conveniently forgot your uid/pwd ... and you have to reset it.

Seriously though, no need whatsoever for a login to an app you don't purchase anything or interact with tbh.

The amount of things to do in #Destiny2 is overwhelming, but it's reduced to a few if you don't have any DLCs. Which costs like a new game. Yikes, I didn't remember this business model from Bungie, but that's my fault.

It's a good game, but requires so much commitment to be fully enjoyed.
I'm annoyed it continues to boot in 4K, but this might be #NVIDIA's fault for not picking up my settings in #GeForceExperience.
