Evening Light on Cathedral Lane, Edinburgh

Yesterday evening, walking along a road in Edinburgh, I saw that the setting sun was casting long shadows, and as luck would have it, those make interesting subjects, especially the light and dark of sun and shadow.

Hopefully, the person in the pub was having a nice evening in there, it was lovely being out.

Golden Hour

Just after sunrise, this lake at the edge of Haarlem turned gold. When these geese came flying by, I was ready. With this shot, I think I managed to capture the early morning atmosphere quite well.

Heute mit dem Brompton G-Line bei einem Meeting etwas ausserhalb der Stadtgrenze gewesen, deswegen auch 12km statt der üblichen 8km gependelt. Auf dem Heimweg noch im Büro vorbei und danach mal wieder zur #GoldenHour durch den #Käferberg-Wald #mdRnH geradelt und dabei von der #Waid aus gen Osten einen surrealen #Sonnenuntergang im #Zürisee nahe dem #Bürkliplatz gesehen.

Blick von der Waid auf Zürich und den Zürisee. Kurz vor unteren (nahen) Ende des Sees spiegelt sich die Sonne ineinem grossen Haus mit Glasfront, sodass es aussieht, als würde die Sonne grade im See deutlich vor dem Horizont untergehen.
