Only one new video game this week -
Rayman Raving Rabbids for the Nintendo Wii. One new TTRPG/LARP game Uber RBG Steampunk, and two new DVDs The Thirteenth Floor and Beetlejuice.

Uber RPG Steampunk core book, This looked very interesting when I saw it half price book - I've always liked the idea of Steampunk - The book says it can be played as a table top RPG or as Live Action Rollplaying which sounds very interesting to me - and maybe one day I'll get to play with that idea. Made by Uber Goober Games 2011 The Thirteenth Floor and Beetlejuice on DVD - now I think I own Beetlejuice because I remember watching it not too long ago - but I couldn't find it in my DVD collection - so where did I watch it at I don't know? The Thirteenth Floor is a great under rated movie that has some of the same themes as the Matrix came out about the same time, but just couldn't compete with it. So few people saw it and it seems like even fewer remember it. I've always thought it was it was better then the Matrix - but having just rewatched that movie - I may have to put them on equal footing now. To be clear thou, The Thirteenth Floor is still one of my favorite movies.Nintendo Wii Rayman Raving Rabbids - So I found this at half price books - paid a little more then I probably should have. But here is the deal - I've ordered this game a little cheaper three times off eBay and each time the order gets canceled - so I figure HPB has it, and at least I know I'll get it. LOL Not a bad game, but probably not one I'll end up playing much of.

A modern wireframe style, inspired by Atari’s Tempest.

Video is first person. No guns (just arms), physics, and glowing geometry in cyberspace.

I wanted the wires to feel alive so I've updated the style: subtle screen-space gradients, depth, and motion, like stepping inside a vector display's glow.

Built solo. More experiments coming.

Some pretty neat stuff at the RetroFuture exposition 😄

A DeLorean DMC-12. The type that is known for featuring in the Back To The Future movies. It is sitting inside the lobby of the Next Nature museum in Eindhoven, a blue retro patterned backdrop and a curved staircase behind it. There is an illuminated counter above it with the numbers 277186 The car is illuminated with pink and purple lights. The drivers side door is open and there is a ribbon in front of it to indicate we're not allowed to sit in it.
