I've just installed it, so I can't do a proper review yet, but I had a tab open with a YT video that was auto-translated and upon refreshing that tab, everything on that tab (title, audio etc.) was back to its original language.

V3 of our #browseraddon is now live for #firefox users! If you're using #buttercup in Firefox you'll soon see it update. Make sure to connect it to your desktop app once it does.
Note that over the coming weeks there'll be incremental improvements to the extension, as well as new features, such as OTP QR code decoding, a new context menu and translations support.

There are some pretty important #browserAddons out there.
For example, @tails_live bundles #uBlock into #TorBrowser.
Plus no TorBrowser installation is complete without "#BlockCloudFlareMITMAttack" (BCMA), to inform when a person hits a Cloud(G)lare site.
But perhaps the most important of all would be a #browserAddon that people can use to replace "on X (formerly Tsitter)" to a label of their choosing?
Our personal choice will be "#twitSite". 😁
In opera, when you click on a site to select a file, you could take it immediately from the clipboard or from recently downloaded files (there was a selection window). And it was very convenient, instead of dragging or searching in the explorer, you can simply copy and select the desired file in the pop-up window. I wonder if there is such an extension for firefox?

Honestly struggling with #Chrome's Manifest V3 limitations regarding its background script. Can't get any long-lived processes working, and managing hydration of states during suspension and wake up is troublesome as #serviceworkers don't fire events for this.
I'm honestly afraid that I'll just have to fall back and get the browser extension to rely on the desktop app.. And this really defeats all the strides @buttercup has made with its browser extension being its own application. Don't want to do it but I'm seeing no other *reliable* way.
Anyone else out there building #browserextensions hitting this road block? Would really appreciate any words of encouragement or suggestions as to what to do here..
