I bought a #FuzzHugger #Doom Bloom back in 2017-2018. It was the second pedal I ever bought behind the much recommended #RolandBoss MT-2 about a decade prior. It's still one of the best #fuzzPedals I ever heard.

I got one of the last #JamPedals Ripply Falls bass #effectsPedals ever made!

They sent out an E-mail stating they were discontinuing them. Twenty of the regular artwork remained. Within an hour of receiving the message, all those were gone. I wanted this Archenbach art version. It's really cool and is the first piece to make my #fretlessBass #pedalboard.

I managed to find a used hologram microcosm to play with over #jamuary. It's the first bit of gear I've bought in quite a while.

What piqued my interest in it, enough to buy one, is I found out that its effects will sync to midi clock and ALL of its parameters are controllable via cc, so I can automate it with the deluge, a tasty prospect!

We'll see what the verdict is come January, but for now I'm looking forward to messing around and seeing what it can do!

The trouble with #EffectsPedals is that there are so many great ones out there, but there's only so much room on a #pedalboard. And even if you build more than one pedalboard for different uses, there still more great pedals out there than one person could ever possibly use, and it's so hard to choose.

Another line that has really caught my ear and eye is the REVV G Series Anniversary pedals and their Tilt series pedals.

Hey #GearSquad, anyone know of a device/box for the pedalboard that will listen to ambient stage noise and convert it to tap tempo output? Free The Tone's Flight Time delay could do this...

My #NativeAudio mono #pedalboard is coming along nicely. Only a handful more to go.

The bottom row is before the amp and the rest are in the FX loop. Signal chain is from right to left and right to left. Yes, that is a nasty overdrive After the reverb and it sounds wicked. You should try it some time.

When the collection is complete, the actual board/shelf that holds these will have a blacklight. 😋

I forgot that I ordered both. I'm a little bothered that they were shipped separately. The point was to reduce waste and emissions. I haven't even used the tremolo pedal, yet, other than testing it to see if it works at all.

I guess it's nice that he, or whoever else with the company, shipped each as soon as it was ready but, I would have appreciated an E-mail asking if I wanted to wait or get one immediately at the same shipping cost. This practice also means they're less profitable or eventually the prices will have to go up. These #effectsPedals are already not cheap. Although, they are worth it!

Inside the box is a presumably cotton canvas bag containing the pedal. On top sits a paperboard with seeds embedded. It says "thank you".

The entire manual opened up. It has a diagram of the signal routing for mono and stereo operation, MIDI capabilities, what the LEDs mean, and so on.

Not shown is the back which is completely blank. Draw your own lines and write your presets there!

@PetterOfCats I miss their larger space with more selections but now they curate it a bit more so it seems the quality has gone up.

A power supply with numerous outputs of various voltages and a guitar effects pedal with six knobs and two foot switches. The box for it 8s roughly the same size as the PSU.

The box the pedal came in. On the bottom is ruffled colored paper strips meant to look like glass. Resting on the corner is the pik which has a geometric sunflower. Also shown is the manual and a sticker that says "new sound is blooming" with an illustration of a flower pot and a flower whose stalk/vine has grown throughout the letters.

I'm spun back around to wanting analogue #musicEquipment & #effectsPedals.

Not because of that "vintage tone" all the classic rock guys cream corn themselves over. There is something special about the limitations, imperfections, and how it reacts. Yes, I'll conceed there.

Though, I stand by high quality digital when set up properly can technically sound better. That's not what #heavyMetal is about anyway, is it? I never got that memo.

What I like about #analogue gear has to do with the #RightToRepair. It's tangible components.

Plus, as a #LibreSoftware / #FreeSoftware enthusist, it seems wrong to intentionally have anything proprietary.
