Looks as we get to share the campus with the farmer’s market, so I get to peruse fruit & veg for the week and get my nerd on. Hopefully I will find another security appliance from a vendor I do not have yet for my test rack in the garage.

The router is a SBC Raspberry Pi5. The Raspap AP image is downloaded from the site and is vanilla. I'll check back in to say which exact image I downloaded, however the default AP pass should work.
Since it doesn't it must mean I did not read something properly assuming there is more than one AP default pass they use.

TP-Link wprowadza na rynek dwa nowe punkty dostępowe Wi-Fi 6 z serii Omada: EAP650 D120-Outdoor i EAP650 D30-Outdoor.
Ich kluczową cechą są anteny kierunkowe, zaprojektowane do precyzyjnego pokrycia sygnałem wymagających przestrzeni, takich jak hale magazynowe, ciągi komunikacyjne czy tereny otwarte.
Nowe modele różnią się przede wszystkim sposobem emisji sygnału, co pozwala na dopasowanie ich do konkretnych potrzeb. Model EAP650 D30-Outdoor oferuje bardzo wąski kąt emisji (30° w pionie i poziomie), co pozwala na osiągnięcie maksymalnego zasięgu – do 900 metrów w paśmie 5 GHz – w jednym, konkretnym kierunku, na przykład wzdłuż korytarza lub drogi dojazdowej.
Z kolei EAP650 D120-Outdoor emituje sygnał znacznie szerzej (120° w poziomie), zapewniając pokrycie dużych, otwartych obszarów, jak place czy hale produkcyjne, na odległość do 500 metrów.
Oba urządzenia pracują w standardzie Wi-Fi 6 (AX3000), oferując prędkości do 2402 Mb/s w paśmie 5 GHz oraz do 574 Mb/s w 2,4 GHz. Wykorzystują zaawansowane technologie, takie jak OFDMA i Beamforming, które zapewniają stabilną obsługę wielu urządzeń jednocześnie, co jest kluczowe w środowiskach o dużym natężeniu ruchu (np. ze skanerami czy pojazdami autonomicznymi). Wsparcie dla funkcji Mesh i płynnego roamingu gwarantuje ciągłość połączenia w ruchu.
Nowe punkty dostępowe są w pełni zintegrowane z platformą Omada SDN, co umożliwia centralne zarządzanie całą infrastrukturą sieciową z chmury. Mein Access Point #NWA50AX PRO (AX3000) funktioniert grundsätzlich, aber nicht wie gewünscht. Aktuell erhalten WLAN-Endgeräte über die NAT-Funktion des APs IP-Adressen (z. B. 10.0.0.x), wodurch sie im zentralen Router nicht sichtbar sind. Im Local Bridge Mode jedoch bekommen die Geräte keine IP-Adressen vom Router zugewiesen – das ist das Hauptproblem in meinem Netzwerk.
