At least, according to a study SGS Economics and Planning:
"Sydney's Northern beaches ranks as the highest in the nation for wellbeing, with only one Queensland city making it to the top 10, the annual index revealed today.
"The Australian Capital Territory came in second due to its low gender wage gaps, climate change risks and the division of wealth."
The study assessed 518 local council areas on seven indicators:

* income and wealth
* employment, knowledge and skills
* housing
* health
* equality, community and work-life balance
* environment

In 2017, Ghent introduced its circulatieplan (circulation plan) which removed traffic from the city centre using #carfree zones.
Since then there has been more space for #pedestrians and cyclists with only a select group of vehicles such as emergency services, trams, buses and taxis able to enter.

#Bellingen has a #traffic jam problem. The 'CBD' ist stuffed. Shopping is a 'running the gauntlet' experience. No matter how much they will 'straighten the bends and widen country roads', there will be just more and more cars. Removing 'bends' from very steep and winding country roads is eliminating #biodiversity #habitat.
Where will all the cars go from the newly smashed in suburbs? (North Bank Road etc) Working hard to make it a #Nonplace.
