I migrated from windows 10 (w10 thereafter) to #linux #mint #cinnamon 22.1.

I'm having a problem with a desktop feature working differently.

It's when clicking on an app taskbar icon containing only 1 window, not 2 or more stacked.

On w10, when clicking on the taskbar icon of the current window, it's minimized.
And clicking again restore the window.

On cinnamon, the first click minimization is working, but the restoration is not if I directly click again on the icon.
I need to first click on the icon of another running app, then click on the icon of the first app to restore its window.

Is there a way to get the same behavior on cinnamon than on w10?

Less than a week into my first foray into #Linux and I am already contemplating a different flavour. I spent yesterday backing everything up to my NAS and will try reinstalling the #mint #cinnamon version I started out with.

I’m going to have to try and figure out how to mount my NAS properly in #fstab based on this post: https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=326160

Currently it’s invisible unless I enable Time Machine functionality on the NAS. Then it’s inexplicably visible on network.

Ca roule bien, mais pas aussi bien que #Debian avec #kde qui offre une expérience utilisateur bien plus riche.
Le plus c’est pas forcément #Debian c’est plutôt l’environnement KDE.

Steam is behaving weirdly in my #Mint #Linux install. If I turn it on with the wifi on, it just says Loading user date and goes nowhere.

If I shut the wifi off and turn on Steam it loads, but does not show my game library. If I then turn on wifi it recognizes my game library on my hard drive and on my NAS.
